So I hit on the importance of just... looking great! Finally I got some nice dress shoes with a casual tinge, so that they go together with blue jeans (the shoes cost me just like $ 15, they're a fantastic imitation, indistinguishable from the $ 200 or $ 400 ones I found downtown).

Together with my stylish black jacket with white stripes and my similar shirt it makes a combination that turns chicks' heads - and I'M NOT KIDDING!!! (Okay, plus there's my skin care, grooming, etc., which was already there.)

So the strategy I adopted was just being aloof - I just knew in advance I'd have great responses. So I just stop the chick, if she's walking towards me, or go next to her if she's standing, and say whatever comes to my mind. Preferably under radar, like "Is there a bookstore around here?" GREAT NON-VERBALS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!! Like confident, like "I-could-give-a-shit" smile, look into her eyes, smiling. Thus you slowly raise the heat.

In the meanwhile you build undercover rapport. When she's already your buddy, you start coming out - maybe a comment on her looks, maybe a straightforward invitation for coffee.
